Lawrence Library Music in the Gallery Series Features Tenor, Conductor in Summer Concert

PEPPERELL — Lawrence Library hosts summer Music in the Gallery concert with two featured musicians. The Library Director welcomed the audience on the evening of July 8, thanking the Friends of the Lawrence Library for sponsoring the performance and Pepperell Community Media for filming it. Tenor Alex Nant, recently returned from Berlin, Germany, and band conductor Joe Clark, who completed seven years at La Porte High School in Indiana and holds a master's in wind band conducting from the University of Illinois, performed a program that included Debussy in the second half.
Clark was announced as moving to Massachusetts this fall to begin a new position as a band director. Pepperell Community Media plans to post a recording of the concert to its Video On Demand platform at pepperellchannel.org.
