Panel to pitch tourism group to Select Board
Pepperell's Economic Development Advisory Committee weighed a regional tourism partnership but deferred any commitment to the Select Board.
Economic Development Advisory Committee · Meeting of October 15, 2026
Pepperell's Economic Development Advisory Committee weighed a regional tourism partnership but deferred any commitment to the Select Board. Executive Director Brian of the Revolutionary Valley Regional Tourism Council pitched membership options ranging from $350 to $950 a year, saying the council could help market underused assets like the Pepperell Fall Classic soccer tournament and local farm days. Member Karen Roertgen said, "I don't know if they're going to want to pay $350 to join this thing," and the three-member committee agreed to seek Select Board agenda time before proceeding.
Members separately approved their June 18 minutes unanimously and reported a $455 Historical Commission grant expenditure to finally print a long-delayed third wayfinding sign, six years after the grant was awarded.
