Pepperell Board of Selectmen Reorganizes, Elects Farrellito Chair After Election

PEPPERELL — July 11, 2020 — Pepperell Board of Selectmen reorganizes after election, votes to close doors on contract talks. The board, meeting with three members including newly elected Margaret Scarsdale, unanimously chose Lisa Farrellito as chair and Bill Greathead as clerk in back-to-back voice votes. The board then voted 3-0 on a roll call to enter executive session under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30A, Section 21A, exemption two, to discuss strategy for negotiations with nonunion personnel — the same subject that had drawn an executive session at a prior February 25th meeting. The board announced it would not reconvene in open session, ending all public business for the evening.
