PEPPERELL — April 18, 2023 — Pepperell Planning Board conditionally approves misplaced driveway relocation, extends two-family hearing at Park Street. The board unanimously approved revised engineering plans for the common driveway relocation at 1-4 Chamberlain Way — a project where the road was built in the wrong location — but conditioned the special permit modification on the applicant submitting a detailed bond cost breakdown to DPW Director Kenneth Kalinowski by April 25, after a roughly $75,000 itemized estimate was rejected as inadequate. "Numbers like this mean nothing to me. I wouldn't take a job this way," said Chair Al Patenaude, who noted the town holds approximately $125,000 in existing bond funds set for a different project scope.
