Pepperell Planning Board Approves Pear Street Land Split, Tucker Street Driveway Permit

PEPPERELL — December 11, 2017 — Pepperell Planning Board approves corrected Pear Street land division and Tucker Street driveway modification at final 2017 session. The board voted unanimously Monday to endorse a revised approval-not-required plan for Peter Montesanti at 25 to 33 Pear Street, prepared by Cornerstone Land Consultants, dividing the property into four lots ranging from 1.91 to 45.3 acres; engineer James Friend said the 33.5-acre Lot Three is being eyed for a future open-space residential design subdivision. The board also approved, four to zero with one abstention, a special permit modification allowing an existing driveway at 26 Tucker Street to remain as shared access for a new lot, with members citing site visits and the absence of highway department objections. The board set its next regular meeting for January 8, 2018, skipping two Monday dates falling on Christmas and New Year's Day.
