Pepperell Planning Board sets September 15 deadline meeting for NECC application

PEPPERELL — September 7, 2021 — Pepperell Planning Board moves NECC deliberation to September 15 and flags possible site plan issue at new Domino's location. The board, meeting virtually on September 7 with Chair Casey absent and member Chuck serving as acting chair, voted unanimously to shift its deliberation on the New England Craft Cultivators application from September 13 to September 15 — the application's standing deadline — at 7 p.m. In the meeting's most substantive exchange, member Al raised concerns about whether a Domino's Pizza franchise occupying the former Dunkin' Donuts building had triggered a required site plan review, noting the original drive-through approval was use-specific and had "become a major problem and concern to different departments in town." Newly appointed Town Planner Jennifer said she had not seen a minor site plan application and committed to reviewing the original approval and checking building permit records. The board also confirmed receipt of a FEMA-approved MVP grant and noted a vacancy for an associate member of the board.
