Pepperell's Priciest Sale Nears $1 Million as Median Holds at $535,000
Eighteen properties changed hands in Pepperell from July 24 to Aug. 22, according to recorded deeds. Of the 11 sales with disclosed prices, figures ranged from $110,000 for 107 Jewett St to $999,900 for 23 Bacon St, with a median of $535,000. Six of the seven undisclosed-price transfers moved property into family or revocable trusts rather than to outside buyers. Jewett Street saw the most activity with three recorded transfers; Bacon and Wheeler streets each recorded two. Deed data included no bed, bath or square-footage figures, and no comparative data was available to characterize the pace of sales against prior periods.
