Pepperell DPW presses toward January water shutoffs over roughly $360,000 in unpaid bills. The Board of Public Works heard that a first round of warning letters to about 103 delinquent water and sewer accounts, each owing more than $2,000, recovered roughly $30,000, about 10 percent of what's owed.
