Planning Board · Meeting of August 17, 2026

Pepperell Planning Board spends nearly two hours rewriting its zoning Table of Uses ahead of a September hearing. Chair Albert Patenaude, Clerk David Ganong and members Sean Dorey, Amanda Huntington and Sandra Hartnett worked with Town Planner Jason Cleghorn through district-by-district changes bound for the November 8 Special Town Meeting warrant, covering assisted living facilities, restaurants, manufacturing and a newly added data center category. "I don't really want to lead the discussion, per se, because I've already done that through these changes," Cleghorn told the board.

Dorey pitched adding a special-permit recreational vehicle park use along the river in the Rural Conservation Residential district. The board separately approved, by roll call, draft minutes from five earlier meetings, with Huntington and Dorey each abstaining from dates they had missed, and did not reach a second agenda item on subdivision regulations. No members of the public spoke.
