Pepperell Selectmen Approve Wine Pouring License for Library Friends Group

PEPPERELL — February 10, 2016 — Pepperell selectmen approve a charity wine pouring license for the Friends of the Lawrence Library. The Board of Selectmen voted 2-0 at its February 10 meeting to grant the Licensing Authority Charity Wine Pouring License to the nonprofit Friends of the Lawrence Library, the sole action item of the evening. The board convened with two of its three members present — a quorum — and the chair noted that the absent third member had communicated her support for the application. No conditions were attached to the approval, and the Friends' representative was directed to submit the required forms following the vote.
