Pepperell zoning board grants Reiki business special permit with conditions
Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of May 6, 2026
Pepperell Zoning Board of Appeals grants special permit for a home-based Reiki business, barring parking on a conservation right-of-way. The board, chaired by Sean McCaffrey, unanimously approved applicant Annabelle Tonkovic's request to see one-on-one energy healing clients and hold monthly outdoor group events for 10 to 15 people at 57-59 Park Street. Conditions capped visitors at 15 people at a time and limited outdoor and group activity to 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
A board member found that a right-of-way on the property was deeded for access to a Nashoba Conservation Trust parcel, prompting the board to bar parking there: "I don't think we can allow that to be used for parking." Tonkovic must still secure a sign permit confirming compliance with zoning bylaw Sections 5321 and 5322. Administrative assistant Cheryl Luska said filing the written decision with the town clerk triggers a 20-day appeals period.
