Foxborough Conservation Commission approves development modification, septic order at June 8 meeting

PEPPERELL — June 8, 2026 — Foxborough Conservation Commission approves development tweak adding three units, issues septic order. The commission on June 8 unanimously approved a minor modification to a 35-unit residential development at 138 Washington Street for applicant Patriot Park, LLC, after engineer Cameron Gray of Bay Colony Group presented a revised site plan rotating two rear buildings — raising the unit count from 32 to 35 — while also dropping the site's finished grade by two feet and reducing impervious surface by 10 percent. Conservation agent Craig said the changes represent "technically an improvement" over the approved plan. The commission also issued a standard order of conditions for a septic upgrade at 3 Windsor Drive in the Canoe River Area of Critical Environmental Concern, where civil engineer David Klenert of Collins Civil Engineering Group presented a replacement pipe-and-stone system approved by the Board of Health with no waivers. A contested after-the-fact driveway expansion at 56 Spring Street was continued to June 22 after the commission declined to issue conditions without a complete restoration planting plan offsetting roughly 950 square feet of new impervious surface.
