Planning Board continues subdivision hearing to March, cites missing document and absent members

PEPPERELL — February 3, 2025 — Pepperell Planning Board punts subdivision rules hearing to March and calls for earmark oversight. Acting chair Dave Ganong presided over a 21-minute meeting February 3 after chair Al Papadopoulos and a key planning staff member were absent, leaving the board without an editable draft of the subdivision rules document. The board voted 4-0 to continue the public hearing on revised subdivision rules and regulations to March 3, 2025. Members also agreed to invite sole Planning Board applicant Richard Michaud to the February 18 meeting for a light vetting session following the resignation of former member Keating. The board directed staff to request that the ACT Commission appear at the March 3 meeting to account for its use of town earmark funds, with Ganong warning that "Pepperell will not be getting any more earmarks" if the money produces no results.
