Two $1 million-plus sales bookend an active September for Pepperell real estate
Pepperell recorded 20 property transfers between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, with 13 carrying a sale price so far ranging from $210,000 to $1,100,000 and a median of $545,000. The month's top sale was 57 Shattuck St., which sold for $1,100,000 on Sept. 30, followed closely by a $1,069,000 sale at 102 Mt. Lebanon St. Shattuck Street and Nashua Road each saw two transfers. The seven sales still without a recorded price all involved family or trust transfers rather than open-market deals, and sales split fairly evenly across price tiers, from four under $500,000 to two above $1 million.
