Conservation Commission clears Buckley Center addition with unanimous negative determination
PEPPERELL — December 3, 2019 — Pepperell Conservation Commission unanimously approved a negative determination for a proposed 910-square-foot building addition at the Buckley Center on Hall Street at its December 3 meeting. The determination, issued under categories three and six of the state Wetlands Protection Act, found the project will have no adverse impact on the buffer zone and is permitted under the town's local bylaw. The project had received all requested waivers from the Planning Board the night before, with the board directing staff to issue a formal special-permit decision that will include a hold-harmless clause addressing a minor staircase encroachment into a town drainage easement. The commission also unanimously endorsed a deed for a 70A conservation real estate parcel, issued a certificate of compliance for 103 Roll Road (DEP file 259065), and accepted amended minutes from its November 19 meeting. The next meeting is January 7, 2020; there is no December 17 session.
