Pepperell Conservation Commission Continues All March Hearings to April 7 Over COVID-19

PEPPERELL — March 17, 2020 — Pepperell Conservation Commission continues all eleven March 17 items to April 7, citing COVID-19 town hall closure. Conservation Administrator Paula Tarassi opened and closed the meeting in Town Hall Conference Room B without any commission deliberation, announcing that the town had closed its offices to the public and that future meetings would be conducted by teleconference. The two items continued were a public hearing on a wetland delineation at 23 to 29 Hollis Street filed by David Babin and a request for determination of applicability filed by Jonathan and Judith Friend for a sewage disposal system replacement within the buffer zone at 25 Dow Street. Nine additional Edgestone Properties matters involving Birch Drive Lots 11 through 19 — including three requests to amend orders of conditions and six requests for three-year extension permits — were also pushed to April 7, with five orders of conditions carrying a June 29, 2020 expiration date, making the rescheduled session time-critical.
