Pepperell Conservation Commission Continues Bancroft Street Wetland Hearing to August 16

PEPPERELL — July 19, 2022 — Pepperell Conservation Commission continues wetland boundary hearing at 24 Bancroft Street to August 16. The commission opened its July 19 meeting at 7:05 p.m. solely to continue an Abbreviated Notice of Resource Area Delineation hearing for a bordering vegetative wetland boundary at the property, after wetland scientist Maureen, of Norse Environmental Services, fell ill and was unable to consult with commission staff before the hearing. Matt, a Norse Environmental Services representative on the call, agreed to coordinate a preliminary technical review between commission staff and Maureen before a group site walk scheduled for August 11 at 6 p.m., to begin at Orion Drive. Property owner Sandra insisted no one enter the land without her present, citing trespassing and liability concerns. An estimated 30 to 40 abutters received formal notice of the proceeding; abutter Marissa, of Syrious Lane, also asked to attend the walk. The continued hearing is set for August 16 at 7:05 p.m.
