Pepperell Conservation Commission Delays Bancroft Street Wetland Hearing to October 18
PEPPERELL — October 4, 2022 — Pepperell Conservation Commission continues Bancroft Street wetland hearing without argument. Meeting on October 4, the commission postponed substantive deliberation on an abbreviated notice of resource area delineation filed by Theodore Volandrianos for a bordering vegetated wetland boundary at 24 Bancroft Street. Only four individuals were present on the call, and a commission member warned that any future absence could disrupt proceedings if formal discussion had already begun. Matt Waterman of Lantech Consultants, appearing for the applicant, agreed that "any formal discussion probably is best left until we have the voting board," and acknowledged the submitted plan still required at least one additional correction. The hearing was continued to October 18 at 7:15 p.m., one of two public hearings scheduled that evening.
