PEPPERELL — The Recreation Commission discussed a Kennedy Field environmental study and CPC funding requests but took no votes beyond adjourning. Chair David Ganong and member Alan Leao met remotely. A commissioner said Public Safety and the P-REC opposed pedestrian access from the police station side, leaving the commission "still without Kennedy Field." The commission said Town Hall disputes the field's Article 97 protection and plans to seek a state letter.
Members listed three CPC projects: the study, an updated softball field request and the Prescott Statue Committee, which has raised more than $10,000. Ski club bus fare was set at $170, and a meeting with league presidents was planned for the 20th.
